The Zar & Mashayekh Ritual from Khuzestan is performed by a solo singer, response singers and players of Daf and some other percussions. The Zar Ritual and the Molud-khani from Minab in Hormozgan are performed by Qolam Samma'i (Solo singer and Samma player) and Abbas Samma'i (Samma player and response singer). Samma is a kind of Daf. Very interesting.

  2. It works fine in general, so the problem must be on your side. Just find out on Google how to solve your problem.

  3. It seems that dropbox is having troubles in some places. Again I can't download since yesterday, but hope it will work eventually. The download is very slow, and then stops alltogether.

  4. Sorry to hear that. The problem is that I bought a while ago 1 TB of space on Dropbox for 100 Euros for one year which I needed also partly for other reasons. The same on ADrive would cost 250 $ per year. I just can't afford this. The alternative is that I just stop the blog, to which I'm inclined anyway for several reasons. Up to recently I just had 100 GB on ADrive which costs only 25 per year. This is affordable. But these 100 GB are all used up now and everything beyond gets then quite expensive. At the moment I don't see any other solution. But even this is questionable as to spend 100 Euros per year just to make music available mostly to people who are not willing to spend a penny on music seems quite ridiculous.
