Thanks Axel/Tawfiq!

Very nice for an old LP to sound so good!

When I read (and hear!) the words "Tabla Solo" on a recording I am very happy indeed! :-) --dandor

Yes indeed, this is a very beautiful Tabla solo by the great Shanta Prasad.

Thank you very much for the incredible music that you are sharing with us on this blog. Is there a chance of you having the old LP of Deben Bhattacharya "The Living Tradition: Music From Turkey"? It was posted on several blogs some years ago, but now it is not available anywhere. I would be very happy to be able to listen to it. Thank you very much in advance for your consideration and your efforts.
kind regards from Austria.

Unfortunately I don't have that one.

Comparing the back cover and label of this version with the Odeon version I see a discrepancy. The final item is misidentified as Piloo Thumree. It is correctly identified on the Odeon sleeve notes as "A Dhun".
